South Hills Chautaqua - or creative sharing hour - was held on Tuesday evenings on the lawn of Bates Place. Neighbors would gather to share writings, poetry, art, stories, spoken word poetry, and musical talents. Around a campfire folks would come to share their creativity, or simply listen and relax with refreshments.  What an enjoyable way to celebrate the talents and passions of our neighbors, as well as a way to make deeper connection between the creative community.
